• Parent Coordination and Coaching

Parenting Coordination is a child-focused alternative dispute resolution process aimed at helping parents to develop and implement parenting plans that minimize conflict and promote effective communication and collaboration.

In my parent coordinator role, I support co-parents who struggle to communicate effectively. Divorce and parental separation can create intense conflict, but parent coordination helps co-parents make concrete plans for how to navigate decision making challenges such as creating and maintaining access schedules.

I take a hands-on approach in order to help co-parents reach agreements that work for both parties. Above all, I remind co-parents of their common goal: the wellbeing of their child. By focusing on what unites rather than what divides, co-parents often feel more empowered to work together and more satisfied with the outcome.

In my parent coaching role, I will work with parents either individually or together to address parenting challenges unique to their children and circumstances. This is a collaborative process that helps parents expand their toolbox of language and strategies to best communicate with their child and address any behavioral challenges.

  • Individual Therapy

We all experience challenges in life. However, as the old adage goes: Pain is inevitable, but suffering is optional. Things may feel hard for you right now, but you don’t need to keep spinning your wheels with ineffective communication and old coping skills that don’t serve you.

I’m here to help you find compassion for yourself. As a therapist, I wholeheartedly believe that each person is capable of growing and thriving, and I want to help you believe the same.

Together, we will set goals for our sessions, which I hope will be a constructive outlet where you can find peace and understanding. I aim to strike a balance between empowering and challenging clients in order to support them in reaching their full potential.

  • Family Therapy

Family can be one of the biggest joys in life, as well as one of the greatest stressors. I help families of all shapes, sizes, and backgrounds navigate through challenges and celebrate successes. Whether you’re new to parenting, finding your place in a blended family, or going through other family changes, I’m here to support you.

Family dynamics are complex. Even in traditional nuclear families, it can be difficult to manage different personalities and conflicting needs. When you’re part of a blended family or have a unique family structure, there are even more considerations.

If you’re interested in family therapy, you’ve probably already tried everything you can think of to make things work. It can be frustrating when you feel stuck in old patterns or encounter roadblocks that prevent your family from feeling harmonious.

Therapy provides a safe space to process through the difficulties and triumphs that your family experiences. Having an outside perspective from someone who intimately understands family dynamics can help you find more ease in navigating family life.
